Business Management Consultant - Adrian Salee

EXPERIENCE:

Having worked as a mechanical engineer, I went into consulting when I received my MBA. Early consulting projects included recommendations on the Washington Metro system original concept, how to implement modular housing, and an evaluation of the operating economics of various types of commercial aircraft.

On joining one of the oldest management consulting firms, I developed recommendations to the Union Pacific Railroad on changing their operating procedures in order to save fuel. Other projects include: management development for the New York City Transit Authority, small business turnaround, cost accounting system evaluation, and the presentation of workshops and seminars on maintenance management on behalf of the American Management Association. I also have owned and operated several small businesses.

• June, 1957 – Received Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
• June, 1961 - Received Master of Business Administration.
• October, 1961 – Joined Operations Research Incorporated.
• August, 1979 – Joined The Emerson Consultants.
• June, 1982 – Became a member of the Institute of Management Consultants.
• October, 1986 – Started Salee Management Systems.
• December, 2005 – With Jack Drobnis, started Business Improvement Group, LLC.
