Business Management Consultant - Jack Drobnis

EXPERIENCE:

As a newly licensed Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant, I worked for a Boston based CPA firm with a diversified practice. I then started my own practice in Boston which grew into a well diversified firm and required recruiting additional professional staff and partners.

We provided management consulting services, certified audits, reviews, financial statement preparation, income taxes and bookkeeping. I have installed many: accounting and bookkeeping systems (i.e. QuickBooks and Peachtree), computerized billing and collection systems, and fringe benefit plans. I also have substantial experience in obtaining and operating non profit organizations. This required my having the management skills necessary for running a dynamic accounting firm.

PROFESSIONAL ATTAINMENTS:

• September 2, 1962 Became a Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant.
• 1962 - 1967 Employed by a CPA Firm.
• 1968 - Started my own firm.
• 1973 - Became managing partner of the Boston office of a national CPA firm.
• 1979 – Started a firm which grew to seventeen professionals and twelve support staff.
• September 30, 1986 - Sold practice to my partners and began a career consulting to several of my former large clients.
• I currently am designated as a Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks.

EDUCATION:

• Boston English High School, graduated June 1957.
• Bentley College of Accounting and Finance, graduated June 1961.
• Attended numerous continuing education courses over many years.

PERSONAL:

Married to Florence for over forty-three years and live in Palm Beach Gardens.
